Please support us by searching the web via everyclick:

PODS is currently run by a Management Team of three people, plus a team of other volunteers.

Carolyn Spring is a freelance writer and has Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) as a result of organised abuse in childhood.  After studying at Cambridge University, she worked for a number of years in Children's Social Care supporting at-risk families and caring for children who had suffered abuse and neglect.  She also has a background in business, having been involved in running small businesses for a number of years, with experience in marketing, website design, IT and training.

Carolyn currently runs TASC (Trauma and Abuse Support Centre) and Spring Ministries, and is Chair of START (Survivors Trauma and Abuse Recovery Trust), a charity formed in 2011 to support work in the fields of trauma and abuse recovery.

As Director of PODS, Carolyn:

Rob has a degree in Biology and a Postgraduate Certificate of Education from Swansea University.  He worked full-time as a secondary school teacher for 10 years, including 4 years as Head of Department at a private school.  He then moved briefly into adult education and training before working alongside Carolyn in Children's Social Care, looking after neglected and abused children. Rob is currently Director of PODS and is also undertaking counselling training.  He will soon be starting his counselling placement at Hunts Mind.

As Director of PODS, Rob:

Karen has Dissociative Identity Disorder as a result of childhood abuse.  She has a First Class degree in Health Development with further graduate study in Psychology and has worked in health and charity settings in project management and coordination roles.
