PODS is currently run by a Management Team of three people, plus a team of other volunteers.
Carolyn Spring is a freelance writer and has Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)
as a result of organised abuse in childhood. After studying at Cambridge University,
she worked for a number of years in Children's Social Care supporting at-
Carolyn currently runs TASC (Trauma and Abuse Support Centre) and Spring Ministries, and is Chair of START (Survivors Trauma and Abuse Recovery Trust), a charity formed in 2011 to support work in the fields of trauma and abuse recovery.

Karen has Dissociative Identity Disorder as a result of childhood abuse. She has a First Class degree in Health Development with further graduate study in Psychology and has worked in health and charity settings in project management and coordination roles. She has had responsibility for managing and leading teams; developing policies and procedures; event organisation; and administration. She is Project Manager for PODS and also acts as Project Liaison Officer between START and the projects it supports.
